SATA drive not recognized in linux

If your SATA drive does not get recognized when installing linux (happens on older linux distributions), you can have it recognized by filling in the "linux all-generic-ide" command before launching the installer.

Before starting the installer, type in the following:

# linux all-generic-ide

Then press enter and you will see the drives will get recognized on the setup screen.
